The virtue of a woman.
1 Corinthians 11:8-9 For man does not originate from woman, but woman from man; 9 for indeed man was not created for the sake of woman, but woman for the sake of man.
Have you ever wondered why God said it is not good for man to be alone? It took me some time to get the revelation of this statement. Man was given the power to rule. It is his nature to have dominion. However, without the knowledge of how to rule in submission to God, he will fail. Woman was created to be a suitable helper to man. This means that God graced women with strengths men lack. Where man is limited, woman brings clarity and a solution for his success.
When Adam saw Eve, he said she was born of my kind. He recognized that Eve was removed from his side and was an extension of himself. Without her, he was incomplete. Godly women have a je ne sais quoi factor. She possesses qualities that a carnal woman does not. Understanding who she is in the Lord causes her to function similarly to the Holy Spirit. Her wholeness in Christ brings comfort and assistance to the man who finds her.
The grace of a woman aids her husband to remain humble before God. She does not rule over her husband; she guides him through her submission, so that he does not fail. Man has the tendency to show off their ability. They often forget that although they are the head of the woman, Christ is their head. It is a command from God to submit to lordship. As man is the expression of Christ, woman is the expression of her husband. She is his glory. A woman who does not submit to God’s divine order violates the covenant with God and her spouse. When she is in line with God’s order, she sanctifies her husband. Her husband obtains favor from the Lord.
God created woman to be a help to man's weakness. Her purpose is to bring an increase in the life of her mate. The scriptures say when a man finds a wife, he finds a good thing. She sees the blind spots and guides him away from danger. She covers her spouse in the secret place with the Lord. Her assignment is birthed through intercession. A woman who is content in who God says she is enlarges the tent of her husband. A broken woman loses her virtue and can’t be a proper help to a man. She can’t function in her office and responsibilities as a wife according to God’s design.
Let’s look at the rise of Esther. Her journey from orphan to the palace was intricate. Esther was trained to serve a king. Her femininity attracted him, but it was her courage that made her influential. She had beauty and soft confidence to be a wife. That did not give her the upper hand over the other women in the kingdom. It was her fear of God that caused the king to bend the laws in her favor. This is the kind of woman who understands that her purpose is far greater than simply being a wife. She understood her position as a wife to the king was to save a nation, even if it meant her death.
Can you see the power of a virtuous woman? Proverbs 31 spoke of such a woman. She brings value to a king and not his destruction. The revelation of the office of a woman is beneficial before ever desiring marriage. It is our grace that brings favor to man. When we understand who we are as women, we know our value is far greater than rubies. The man who finds a woman who is trained by the Holy Spirit, walks in her authority and femininity, causes her husband to operate in his office as a priest. God’s order brings rest in that union.
Proverbs 19:14 House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: And a prudent wife is from the LORD.
A prudent wife is from the Lord. She brings light, favor, and riches to the life of her spouse. A canal woman drains a man and brings him shame. I almost failed at my assignment in the life of my husband before I understood that my grace enhances the office of my husband. The Lord began to unfold my assignment while I was married and continues this process even today. As an intuitive wife, I can see ahead and warn my husband of what is coming. There are times he takes counsel from me, but on occasions, he does not. I do what I do best and partner with the Holy Spirit in prayer.
A foolish woman tears down her house. The anointing she carries causes a man to prevail. It is by design that women are likened to the function of the Holy Spirit. She is suitable for her spouse when she is in sync with the Holy Spirit, causing her husband to excel far beyond his limitations. When we believe what God says concerning us, we will not be deceived by the enemy as Eve was.
Healing is necessary for a woman to operate in her full capacity. A woman who has been emotionally damaged causes a man to fail. She will compete with him rather to empower him to rise in the wisdom of God to lead his home. A woman who is broken can destroy a man. She tries to control from in front, not from his side. She can't help the weakness of her husband if she is bruised and bleeding. She needs healing in order to activate her God given potential. Husbands can learn from their wives’ submission to God. She reveals heaven when she walks in the power of her assignment.
1 Peter 3:1 Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, maybe won by the conduct of their wives,
A woman's primary purpose is not to fulfill the sexual desires of a man. Her primary purpose is to bring contentment to her head/husband. When a man is not content, he will continue to have wandering eyes. The enemy uses that to his advantage to disrupt the sanctity of marriage. She helps him remember he can't rule in holiness without his submission to Christ. A man will lose sight of his role to lead well. He can’t love his wife as Christ loves his bride, nor will he see his wife as a helper suitable for him. The order of God is that a woman comes to help him succeed against attacks from the enemy to take him out of his position as king.
The greatest force on earth is a husband and wife who know who they are by God’s design and live in unity. Marriage glorifies God. A woman sees that the man carries a strange spirit. She has the discernment to stand proxy for him until he comes into line. She detects when Jezebel is in operation. She understands that when they both serve God in spirit and truth, God’s order brings abundance. Their power comes from their heart posture before God. In all that she does, the success of her husband is always her priority. When he prospers, she prospers.
Women are wired to be helpers. We have the capacity from God to bring calmness to our homes. We have a vision to win wars and bring stability to the economy of our household. A wife trained by God is a well-armed warrior in the realm of the spirit. She sits at the feet of Jesus to gain intel and advantage over the plans of the wicked one. If she is not careful, she can use her revelation to go ahead of him, causing him to feel small. Wisdom from the throneroom of God needs to be skillfully administered.
The virtue of the woman is often used in stillness. She fights her wars in the spirit and walks in confidence because God is backing her up. She does what is right and uses the sword of the Spirit daily. She sees ahead and intercedes when he husband is out of order. When he rules in arrogance, a woman can save his life. Zipporah is a perfect example of that. She saved Moses from being killed by God before he started his mandate. Disobedience causes setbacks. Esther was the glory of her husband, the king. He would have been blind sided by the men he trusted for counsel.
A prudent woman enlarges the territory of her husband. When a woman fails to help her husband, her lineage dies. God is calling us to take our place as women. We are not little. We were not left out of God’s vast plan. We were created to assist by ensuring our homes are in order and our children are raised with he righteous fear of the Lord. If you doubted how God sees you, let this be an encouragement to you that God had you on his mind when he formed Eve. You have a purpose and can’t be revoked from your God given right to influence change in the community.
