Protocol of Kingdom Prayers: coming into agreement with God.

Matthew 6: 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Do you know that your Spirit can solve any problem?

The problem is we don’t take time to seek the Lord and trust the Holy Spirit within us, who leads us to all truth. When it seems like all hell has broken loose in your life, what is your first reaction? Unusual circumstances can force you to look at the open door in your life or to question whether God hears your prayers. When faced with difficult situations, the only solace in our lives that can’t be taken away is our relationship with God.

Trials bring scriptures to life when we go through challenging times.

I have had a few experiences that shook me to my core. After trying to fix things and making a bigger mess, I sought the Lord for understanding to navigate difficult seasons. I needed the wisdom of the Lord to straighten things out in my life. Faith matures through trials. I discovered that I needed supernatural assistance to navigate through the trials that presented themselves. Faith grows stronger with every test you overcome.

Accepting Jesus’ finished work led me to coin the phrase ‘nothing is wasted in the hand of the Lord.’

God never disappoints. It is up to us to rely on the God of the universe to bring us answers by the agency of the Holy Spirit. What I discovered was simple yet profound. The Lord revealed to me why my prayers were not answered. Not only was I praying amiss, but I also often prayed from a place of defeat. I needed to follow the protocol Jesus set in Matthew 6. Our prayers can’t be based on emotions, victimization, and doubt. We need to tune to the frequency of heaven.

The enemy can’t stand against the word of God. He must bow.

Isaiah 43:26 Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be [a]acquitted.

Praying the word of God is powerful.

While Matthew 6 is the foundational pattern for how to pray, John 17 provides insight into Jesus' prayer life. Jesus prayed according to the blueprint he taught in Matthew 6. Everything Jesus did was to bring glory to God. His approach was do the will of God, not his own. Jesus said, Do not pray like the heathens. The heathens are people who are ignorant of God's will. They do not have a personal relationship with God. They sin and ask God to bless it. They beg God to change their circumstances without obedience to His constitution.

Believers should never pray empty prayers. The word of God produces results. Long repetitive prayers do not glorify God in us.

The enemy uses schemes against us daily. His tactics have not changed. We must use the sword of the Spirit against the lies of the enemy. Our word holds no power. The word of God has a solution to cause us to triumph over the works of darkness. Every child of God has access to the Holy Spirit. The truth is, tests will come. The problem is a lack of faith in God’s word.

The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, but we must take it by force.

In the kingdom of God, there is no defeat, failure, or fear. Those are the very same ammulations the enemy uses against us. We need the fear of God to demonstrate His power. Child of God, stop focusing on the problem. When we look to God for answers and truth, his methods will enable us to achieve victory. God’s method sometimes seems illogical. We should walk in obedience.

A fallen world can’t give you hope and success, as we read in the scriptures.

We can’t go to God with a lie. Anything outside the truth of God is a lie. Lies manifest in many forms, from what you can see and feel in the natural realm. The truth is, Jesus Christ paid in full so that we who are in covenant with God may inherit the benefits of the contract. Saints, we have everything we need to succeed in this life. There is nowhere in this contract agreement that says we won’t face trials. However, we can overcome them through the finished work of Christ at the cross.

Jesus did not allow the enemy to prevail; neither should we.

Romans 3:Certainly not! Indeed, let God be [a]true but every man a liar. As it is written:

“That You may be justified in Your words,
And may overcome when You are judged.”

But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust who inflicts wrath? (I speak as a man.) Certainly not! For then how will God judge the world?

For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?

I noticed while going through a test or a particular situation, an influx of people came to me with the same issues. Trouble indicates two things: God wants to use me in that area to help others. The other reason could be that the enemy is using your trials to keep you complaining instead of focusing on gaining wisdom to solve the problem. The Holy Spirit alerts us when the enemy is at work. We only need to tap into the wealth of spiritual wisdom from within. What you see and feel does not cancel what God said in his word. We only need to believe God’s report is the superior power.

Faith works when it is activated.

I am encouraged to believe in God for bigger things when I see breakthroughs in the lives of others. My faith is provoked when I see God’s people succeed. Praying for others through challenging times helps build our faith. There are times when I pray for people and God moves on their behalf while I wait for my answered prayers. It seemed like I was the test subject. As I focus on God’s work, He is busy working on mine.

Revelations 21:6 He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty, I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.

The truth is, God knows what we need.

If God already knows what we need, why and what should we pray? Prayer is coming into agreement with God. Prayer aligns us to God’s perfect will. The first rule of prayer is to pray by Scripture. When we say yes to God’s will, He always finishes what He starts for his name’s sake. His word is forever sealed and can't be altered. Therefore, it makes sense to pray His will using His words in prayer. A practical example is:

Your doctor told you that you have a terminal illness and have two weeks to live? What is your first response? Do you believe the doctor’s report or the reports of the Lord? Faith says you’re healed even though you can still feel the pain or see the problem. If we can see it in the Spirit, we can walk the road that leads us to them.

God is the giver of life.

His report overrides any report spoken or written by man or the devil. God can open doors no one can close and close doors no one can open. Recognizing God's supremacy is vital when we come to pray. When we align our thoughts and ways to His, there must be evidence that follows. If there are no results, then we must ask the question, why?

When we who are in Christ pray, we understand worship is also a weapon.

We worship God for what He has already done. We do not beg God; we believe what His word says. We remind Him of His word according to the scriptures and speak to the disorders in our lives to come into line with the word of God. By faith, we come into agreement with what God said and command the elements of heaven, earth, and under the earth to bow to the authority of the God of all created things. By His grace, we are saved and granted authority in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We magnify his name for what He has done, not what we want Him to do.

After we have glorified God, we deal with kingdom matters. What does the Word of God say concerning the matters we face? What does the rule book say? Our prayers are tied to the Kingdom of God to reveal His glory in our everyday lives. Prayers are not based on our emotions. We do not pray in fear of the current situation. We pray the word of God to override the situation.

Jesus's approach to prayer was, “I will do what I see my Father do and say what my Father says.”

Jesus prayed in secret. When he came out of his prayer, there was a demonstration of faith. He healed the sick and spoke of signs that followed him even when he was rejected. He commanded things to come in line with the will of His Father. Even fig trees die on command. God's will comes to pass when we believe and decree it. It must be established on the earth.

The language of the Kingdom of God is truth.

We must use the key. We present the truth before the courts of heaven. The name of Jesus gives us access to the throne room of God. Gates open in the name of Jesus. The language of the Kingdom of Darkness is based on lies. Therefore, when we pray, do not speak of what we see, feel, or hear. We pray according to the finished work of the Lord.

Child of God, you have been transferred from death to life.

You are blessed with every spiritual blessing. In the kingdom, there is no darkness, death, lie, or evil work. Sickness, poverty, divorce, and rebellion are not a part of God's kingdom. If God did not say it, it is a lie. Anything that rebels against truth must be cast out.

So what lies are present in your life right now?

It may be a fact that you have an illness or have no money in the bank. The truth is, God made a way out for you and me. Use the truth of God's word against it. Some of the lies the enemy uses against us are that we will never amount to anything. Your marriage will end in divorce. The truth of God's word says, Your marriage is blessed. The word of God says, whoever God has put together, let no man divide. That includes you. So if you are the one out of order, get in line with the word of God.

Allow the light of God's truth to drive out the darkness in your circumstances.

Your spouse and children are sanctified because of you. Don’t pray for what your spouse is doing wrong. The children of Israel complained about believing in God’s faithfulness. Declare the decree of God’s word concerning them. Your children are the fruit of your womb. They will remember the foundation you gave them in Christ. Like the prodigal son, they will return. It is a promise from God.

The truth is, you lack nothing. Everything your hand touches will prosper. God cannot lie.

The word of God declares the righteous will never be forsaken and His seed will not beg for bread. Do not go to God with a lie. Believe the truth of God's word and present it to him. Declare it in prayer. See the results rather than focusing on the current situation.

I am looking forward to hearing your testimonies. I will talk to you soon.
