The making of a godly woman.
Proverbs 18:22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favor of the Lord.
A woman of noble character expresses God's nurturing character.
As a child, I had three examples of women: those with no voice—the strong, dominating with masculine characters. The third type of woman was God-fearing, humble, and submissive. The Lord taught me to develop a healthy balance between all three types.
There are many reasons for dysfunction in women identify. Yet we are not without hope. We must renew our minds from old mindsets and habits, not the Lord's original design.
We have incredible examples of elegant, wise, and courageous women in the Bible to glean from.
The Lord designed us to embody all these characteristics for a fruitful life. When women become dominating and mean-spirited, it goes against God's design. Women are created in the image of God.
Titus 4: 4-8 These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and children. To live wisely and be pure, work in their homes, do good, and be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not disgrace the word of God. In the same way, encourage the young men to live wisely. And you must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching. Teach the truth so that your teaching can’t be criticized. Then those who oppose us will be ashamed and have nothing bad to say about us.
God's design for women is to be nurturers.
While society tells us to be respected, we must become hard. The word of God teaches us to be patient, kind, and loving. A tough upbringing and rejection may have caused you to put up walls, but the Lord wants to restore you.
We host God's nurturing character. We have a wonderful responsibility to teach the young in His ways. We can be fierce in things of the spirit and gentle as doves in our natural lives. We can be bosses in business and submissive wives at home. Balance is key to your success.
To learn our God-given nature, we must get in the word of God to understand his design for us. We must know when to be strong and when to be soft. God's way does not defame who we are as women it empowers us.
God did not create us to be pushed around.
Deborah was a well-respected Judge. She was a woman of influence. She was a wife. I can't imagine her using military skills at home. Esther was a graceful queen. When she had to save a nation, she had to be courageous.
God did not create us to be dominating and mean. That is not his character.
Being rude and mean does not make a woman respected. This does not glorify God. It is the work of the flesh and evil. God gave us the skills and wisdom to glorify him in words and actions.
It is always possible to develop a godly character.
Who we are as women can encourage and point others to the Lord or away from him. We are created to accept, love, and raise children to be confident men and women. They will lead their families and communities in righteousness.
