The Kingdom of God is like…
John 3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
Spiritual blindness is a believer’s kryptonite. There is a war raging daily to destroy us, whether we believe or know it. It is up to us to recognize the weapons that are formed against us and use the word of God to destroy them before they kill us. Child of God, it is time to wage war correctly. This war is formed in the spirit. What you see in natural is evidence of what has already been formed in the realm you can’t see.
Christians, who succumb to responding in the flesh, limit access to the spiritual arsenal available to us in the spirit. Jesus spent three years training his team, also known as the disciples/apostles these principles. We must learn to live in the dimension of the spirit. Praying about the problems is not enough; we must add the spiritual principles to disarm the enemy at work. Whatever we want on earth comes from the spirit. A thought, idea, whether good or bad, is first formed in the unseen world and comes to life in our natural world.
Heresy has limited humans in many ways. Many leaders teach wait on God. To some true degree, this is true. What they don’t tell you is what you are waiting for. There are many different seasons of our walk with God. Prayer and consecration allow us to receive a word, instruction, and direction from the Lord. After you have received a word from God, you must add movement to it. Let's use David as an example. Little David was anointed to be king. Did that make him king on the spot? Yes and no. He had a process to go through before he sat on the throne. He first had to serve under King Saul, fight many wars, and learn how to rule before he was ordained into the office God anointed him to occupy.
2 Kings 6:17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
There is a process we go through before we can have access to and walk in purpose. We all know prayer is essential. Prayer settles our spirit, soul, and body. The mind, will, and emotions must align with our vision of God’s will. Think of it this way, the spirit realm is a whole different world. God said we already have everything we need to succeed. How do we access it? The next step is to identify the territory that belongs to you in the spirit and bring it into the tangible world.
The fun phase of this process is getting familiar with the God who created the heavens and the earth. That is a huge undertaking. By discovering who He is, we understand who we are. Isn’t that insane? The culture, things that formed our habits and thinking process, love and hate, is not always a God-given identity. You and I were shaped by experiences and generational teaching that may or may not line up with God’s truth. God formed you and me in our mother's womb and wrote in His book the ideal life for us. Some people never get to discover this side of their existence.
This is why we need the Holy Spirit to guide us in uncovering the truth. This is the part we must commit to shutting down the prefrontal cortex. This is where logic goes out the door to allow the mind of God to lead us into the unknown. What God says concerning us is buried in our spiritual DNA. It is a beautiful journey, one that requires complete submission to unlock. Covered under hurt, pride, insecurity, rejection, and deceit of our hearts, and the traps of the enemy are the core of who we are.
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Having a title without knowledge and stewardship is dangerous. There are lessons to learn from the many stories that make up the Bible. Who God is, why He created us, is the most important discovery of all. The prodigal son had a titles his lack of stewardship cost him everything. His journey back helped him connect with his father in a meaningful way. We have full access to restored knowledge through Christ. At this point in our journey, we get a sense of not yet beginning to scratch the surface. Desire gets us to the gate, yarning causes us to continue exploring and discovering the unseen world where times is not exist.
An unprepared individual can’t steward this realm. There are potential dangers when ungodly passions and an unhealed heart try to navigate this territory. The key component to understanding is to become like a child. Humility is vital, and ignorance is not bliss. It is dangerous. God wants us to know Him. The more we know about Him, the more we understand why He is to be revered. The only way to approach His throne is through worship, praise, and thanksgiving. Titles are not important to God; the posture of our hearts is.
Navigating the realm of the spirit, we need our spiritual armor to be secured. The spiritual realm is God’s domain. God’s kingdom is governed by laws. Laws protect, preserve, and control destinies. The way to God is to obey, deny ourselves, and follow Him. There is so much to discover, and it is exciting. Jesus used different parables to describe the kingdom of God. There is a treasure within everyone of un that is untouched. The more we know God, the more there is to learn about Him.
The Kingdom of God is like…
He compared the kingdom of God to a mustard seed. A tiny seed that grows into a large plant. Our knowledge grows from humility to spiritual intelligence. The kingdom of God is like yeast, which, when added, shares influence. The Apostles had such a massive impact on the early church. When light comes into our lives, it illuminates, and people will see and be drawn to the light.
The kingdom of God is like a hidden treasure and priceless gems. God’s kingdom is of incredible value. Many people look for what they can get from God. The earthly treasures that can be stolen or taken away. True treasure is not materialistic. The Apostles all discovered their lives were worthless compared to the treasure stored in heaven. They lived joyfully even when their lives were threatened.
To follow Christ means giving up your life like He gave up His. This is such a profound revelation. The early Christians did not fear for their lives. They feared not live to God's standard. Oh, what a glorious church we would be if we all thought this way. They literally and collectively sold everything they owned to possess it. They discovered their purpose for existing, and it was their most valuable treasure of all.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Jesus compared the Kingdom to a fishing net. Jesus’s ministry was fueled by love and compassion. His approach to ministry was not dominance; it was spiritual parenting. He did not care to be served; he humbles himself to serve others. He was concerned about souls, not fame. His fame grew, but for the right reason to point humanity back to God. Jesus transformed lives by teaching principles that work. The very same principles that worked in the Old Testament still work today.
Our divine purpose is rooted in God. The way to access it is through Christ. The way to maintain it is by the leading of the Holy Spirit. We come into God’s kingdom small and innocent, and that mustard seed faith quickly grows into power, authority, and dominion. Kingdom citizens don’t put their value in things, titles, and fame. We set our eyes on the real treasure: Yahweh. In return, He gives wisdom for wealth and success. God is more valuable than anything earthly.
The foundation of worship is committing to know Him more. Worship is not an event; it is a lifestyle. Worship prompts radical changes in our lives from the inside out. The external transformation is a reflection of the internal work, just like the yeast in dough terminology. There is no denying that you and I met with Jesus. His presence is always apparent because fruit cannot lie. The spirit, soul, and body have no choice but to comply with the transfiguration that the Holy Spirit does within us. Welcome to the new you.
I will talk to you soon.
