Partner with God to change your character.

Jeremiah 1:12 The LORD said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.

I was saved for many years and still used profanity. Cursing was a symptom of a greater issue; anger. In desperation, I ask the Lord to help me overcome this problem.

Change did not come instantly. It took a while to manifest, but it did. I woke up one day and realized it had been over a year since I last swore. God did not take away cursing. He arranged the circumstance that triggered me, but I was aware not to let anger control me.

What is triggering you to sin?

The reality, we do not control our circumstances. We can only control how we choose to respond. We have no excuse to remain in the same state the Lord saved us. As we partner with the Holy Spirit, change is inevitable.

The Lord answers when we cry out for help. He is gracious and patient with us through our growing process. Trust that his methods are always good.

Triggers alert us of the character the Lord needs to change.

We can't expect the fullness of God without partnering with him on the journey he planned. God may have healed you instantly in the past. Then there are some areas he will have you walk out. That is the nature of our Father; he wants us to experience him in new ways.

Don't allow guilt to hinder your process of becoming an honorable vessel. God does not hold it to your charge when you make mistakes. He will work with you if you are ready to submit to his ways.

Your testimony comes after you have lived through some things.

Only when Daniel was in the lion's den he experienced God as his protector. Before that experience, he knew the law of Moses. That prepared him to face the government of his day.

When Paul was bitten by a poisonous snake, he came to know the healing power of God. He had many more experiences after that. Get excited about discovering more of the Lord.

Your end is far greater than your beginning.

When we invite the Lord into our lives, he promises to complete his work in and through us. He looks over his work and ensures they come to pass. There is nothing the Lord does not want to bless you with.

Allow him to minister to you in ways that will astound you. His grace is enough to take you through the valley of the shadow of death, and you will come out unharmed.
