Your faith is your spiritual posture.

Devotional.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

It is impossible to see the hand of God at work in our lives when we do not believe He will come through for us. Many of us give up when the results we desire. In my experience, God never answers me how I want him to. That in itself is a blessing. His thoughts and ways surpass my understanding.

We often fail to realize that the enemy brings doubt, guilt, and accusation against us when we pray. This is his sneaky way of crippling our faith. The devil goes before the courts of heaven and says you see, there is guilt, doubt, and fear in this person's heart. This gives me legal rights in our lives.

God is a good Father who does not without good things from us unless they will destroy us or we are not ready to handle them. We must practice endurance. From the moment we pray, the Lord answers our prayers. The devil does not want us to have what we pray for. We must understand that there is a battle in the heavens that may cause delays in our answered prayer.

Ephesians 6:14-17

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Today, I am here to remind us that activate faith is our posture to answer prayers. Let us not allow the devil to catch us off guard. We must trust that Daddy has our backs and wants the best for you, even better than we imagined. Live a lifestyle of faith. We have favor with God, and therefore, we have man.

Let us search our hearts and be sure that what we are asking for is according to God's will. When we have concluded that it is in line with what the Lord Jesus died and paid in full for, we must stand on the Word of God. As long as we are in right standing with God the Father, the devil and his demons have no choice but to step out of our way.

A call to action:

  1. Make sure their is nothing in your heart that the enemy can use against you. Get rid of fear, pride, unforginess, bitterness, envy and the likes.

  2. Repent and align yourself with the word of God. Come before him with a pure heart and clean hands.

  3. Get three to five scriptures concerning the promise you are expecting from God.

  4. Find time daily to stand on the word of God praying the scriptures out loud.

  5. Believe in faith that the Lord has answered your prayers.

    Mervin and I look forward to hearing of all the wonderful things the Lord is doing in your life. Talk to you soon.
