The Red Sea is not the problem.

Exodus 14:16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

Many of us have faced many seasons of impossibility. In those moments, we may feel unequipped to face the challenge. Yet many scriptures give us a different approach to dealing with impossible circumstances. Rather than aborting the mission altogether, we need to ask the Lord for wisdom to navigate through them.

Moses and the children faced an impossible situation, or so they thought. The Red Sea was before them, and Pharoah and his chariot of soldiers were to the back. At that moment, they began to ask God why He led them to the Red Sea. Why did He set them free to be in the middle of an impossible situation?

God said to Moses to use what He had in his hand. The opposition you face is not the problem. Before you face that giant, Red Sea or mountain, God already has a way out for you. He allowed you to face that situation because He already has a solution.

Daniel could have bowed down to the king's decree rather than facing the penalty of praying to the one true living God. But his fear of God was more potent than his fear of what mere mortals could do to him. His testimony proves that the tests and trials we face position us to be protected by God.

In times of adversity, whose report will we choose to believe? Who do you choose to represent? The government of man or the supreme government of God? When the odds are against you, do you seek the face of the Father or the laws of man? We have many examples of God defying the laws of man to save his people from destruction.

2 Peter 1:3 His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his glory and goodness.

Are you faced with a red sea situation? Look no further than to the one who has all the answers. Many scriptures confirm God's plans concerning us. He makes the way for us even when we are in the presence of our enemies. The situation looks significant to us, yet it is small in the eyes of our Heavenly `Father.

So don't ask the Lord to remove the problem. Ask Him for wisdom and courage to go through it. You already know he plans to cause you to prosper. You already know He is there even when you make your bed in hell. You already know that our God is bigger than the devil and his demonic counterfeit plans against you.

Rather than looking at the problem with fear, look at it from a place of victory. You have already won the battle because Jesus Christ paid the penalty for you in full. What may seem impossible with you is possible with God. The enemy knows he is defeated, do you? Do you see him as your opposition or as a defeated foe?

Today, I encourage you to ask the Lord to remove the scales from your eyes. Ask the Lord to give you eyes to see how He sees you and provide you with strategies for overcoming. There is no temptation or situation God Almighty can't pull you out of. No Goliath or mountain is too giant that you can't have victory over.

Partner with the Lord to put the enemy to shame again and again. Believe what the word of God says about you: the problem is a footstool when you relinquish your control over God. He will not disappoint you—partner with God to take down the enemy for your sake.
