The administration of the Holy Spirit.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
The Holy Spirit is the most important being on earth today. From the moment we accepted Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit dwelt in our human bodies. Jesus made it clear that He would not leave us comfortless. The ability to live by the Spirit and not the flesh is through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who gives revelation, direction, and dwells in every blood covenant child of God. If you are still thinking male or female, culture, color, or tribe, or even your call, you have missed the mark. You have not yet started to think on a spiritual level.
The Holy Spirit enables us to develop the fruits of the Spirit. He teaches us through the challenges we face to build faith, have hope, and mature in love. It is impossible to say we know God and not have love and not bear fruit for the Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps us walk in obedience to the will of God and to honor the grace and gift of God in others' lives. We can't say we love God and hate people. The Bible says the truth is not in such a person who hates those he can see, yet claims to love God.
One of the ways the Lord speaks to us is through people. When we hear others' testimonies, it strengthens our faith in God for bigger things. Our desires grow to know God for ourselves. We desire to hear from him as well. As we support and encourage each other, we come into unity. We rejoice with others when they birth businesses. We celebrate their triumph and embrace the unique way God uses everyone. We can't say we are fivefold leaders and treat God's people any other way than Jesus exemplified. We are in the dispensation of grace and mercy. The Lord expects us to treat others with grace.
John 5:19-20 19 19-20 So Jesus explained himself at length. "I'm telling you this straight. The Son can’t independently do a thing, only what he sees the Father doing. What the Father does, the Son does. The Father loves the Son and includes him in everything he is doing.
The administration of the Holy Spirit is to teach us to walk in truth and to develop intimacy with God the Father. He allows us to see every situation through the lens of victory. The scriptures become alive to us as we allow the Holy Spirit to expose hindrances, sin, and blockages in our lives. The Holy Spirit is a gentle guide to all truth. Everything opposite to the blessings, favor, and will of God is revealed through our relationship with the Holy Spirit. God answers all our prayers and questions. Abba never leaves us to fend for ourselves.
Today, I urge you to become a scholar in the school of the Holy Spirit. Whether you are called to occupy the office of an Apostle, pastor, teacher, prophet, or evangelist, the Holy Spirit is there to help you in your function. Do not rely solely on the study of others. God's intelligence never runs out. It is accessible to all of us, not only leaders. God shares secrets with everyone who desires to hear from Him. It always amazes me how we can all get a different revelation from the same scripture. It is good to be taught. However, Scriptures tell us to study to show ourselves approved unto God. Revelation is available to us all.
The fivefold leaders are there to equip, edify, build up, encourage, shepherd, all of that good stuff. It is wise to sit under leaders who are knowledgeable and spirit-filled and lead, but do not stop there. Test every Spirit, take notes, and study the scriptures that are presented to you. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and reveal mysteries to you. God expects every one of us to work out our own salvation. Revelation depends on your hunger for the Holy Spirit to teach us. From experience, the benefits of redemption, blessings, and deliverance are not in the hands of our leaders or our spouses. It is our responsibility to grow in our faith.
John 5 20-23 “But you haven’t seen the half of it yet, for in the same way that the Father raises the dead and creates life, so does the Son. The Son gives life to anyone he chooses. Neither he nor the Father shuts anyone out. The Father handed all authority to judge over to the Son so that the Son will be honored equally with the Father. Anyone who dishonors the Son, dishonors the Father, for it was the Father’s decision to put the Son in the place of honor.
The reward of becoming a scholar is not just in quoting scriptures but in embodying the gospel. As the Holy Spirit teaches, we begin to love what God loves and hate what He hates. We begin to speak and think like God on the earth. He inhabits our praises, and His word comes alive in us. When tests and temptations come, the results of the administration of the Holy Spirit are expressed in our actions. Holy Spirit manifests in our lives as the word becomes real in our circumstances.
In the last while, I have been doing a study on the purpose and role of a woman. I have not even gotten to being a wife, just the meaning of woman blows my mind. It is nothing I have ever heard taught in church before. The Holy Spirit is giving us revelation like never before. Out with the old doctrines and feel-good sermons. In with character shaping powered by the Spirit of God. So many people are crying out Lord, come now. But I am glad the Lord has tarried for a while longer so that we can get our act together. By God’s grace, we're not consumed.
That is the reason why we should all embody the principles Jesus taught and lived by. It is the only way to accomplish the agency of the Holy Spirit. God is not going to come to you like he did in the Old Testament. He is working on the inside of us. He deals with the issues of the soul and the hardness of our hearts to make it more palatable for His glory to be seen through us. God invites us to commune with Him. The invitation is open to all who want to come and partake of the supper He prepared for us. Eat and drink of me.
John 16: 12-15 “I still have many things to tell you, but you can't handle them now. But when the Friend comes, the Spirit of the Truth, he will take you by the hand and guide you into all the truth there is. He won't draw attention to himself, but will make sense of what is about to happen and, indeed, of all that I have done and said. He will honor me; he will take from me and deliver it to you. Everything the Father has is also mine. That is why I've said,’‘ He takes from me and delivers to you’’
Friend, you are called. You have a ministry. Your life is a living testimony; you are a living sacrifice unto God to be used by Him in the capacity He chooses. God desires to shape you into a new wineskin that can contain new wine. He says all who want to be used by Him, come. God wants both men and women alike to be set free from the bondage of religion. The enemy made sure to infuse generations before us with deception from birth. The enemy wants us to remain ignorant of the provision God provided for us.
Hear me by the Spirit of the Lord, your safety, both spiritually, emotionally, and physically, health, wealth, is in the hand of the Lord. We all have access to the Holy Spirit. Stop ignoring Him. You can receive from the overflow of those you serve under. You can also be a beneficiary of the anointing and grace upon their lives through the teachings they lived. But you can also be a beneficiary of delay, stagnation, and spiritual barrenness, illness, like we were after we came under the teachings of some of the ministries we served. Do not think of yourself as smaller than any of the leaders you listen to, including me.
If you are a parent, you will notice that every one of them looks like and imitates you. Even as a child, you may have adopted certain character traits from one or both parents. The way you walk, talk, or sit was inherited from watching your dad. You may notice you get sick like your mom. These character traits from our natural parents are not always good. God is not like our natural parents. He is perfect in all His ways. Holy Spirit trains us to display the character, mind, and heart of God.
Luke 24:45-49 He went on to open their understanding of the Word of God, showing them how to read their Bibles this way. He said, “You can see now how it is written that the Messiah suffers, rises from the dead on the third day, and then a total life-change through the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed in his name to all nations—starting from here, from Jerusalem! You're the first to hear and see it. You're the witnesses. What comes next is very important: I am sending what my Father promised to you, so stay here in the city until he arrives, until you're equipped with power from on high.”
Our walk with God is ongoing. We are learning as we grow and desire to be taught by the Spirit of truth. May we realize that God wants to influence every part of our lives. As He teaches us, we are to teach others. It is a blessing to see people you taught come and teach you something new. It says something about your ministry. Jesus was a great example of that. He taught his disciples and left them to go out and do the same. Like Peter, expect those you teach to make mistakes. Do not condemn them. Correct them in love and give them opportunities to get it right. Allow them to demonstrate the power of God working through them and to develop their gifts.
The Holy Scriptures have been released and are available to all men. Like I said earlier, if anyone is still thinking male or female, rants in the office, they are in deception. They have not yet started thinking on a spiritual level. The Holy Spirit has poured out on all flesh. In the Spirit, we are all called sons. We are all the bride of Christ. Jesus is the bridegroom, we are the bride of Christ. The administration of the Spirit of God is to teach us how to act as the Bride of Christ. It is about sonship, priesthood. We are a royal priesthood and a peculiar people. With that understanding, we will no longer see things from a natural perspective, but by the Spirit.
Everything is spiritual first. The difference is what Spirit is in control of in our lives. Is it the Spirit of God or the devil? Jesus knew and understood his covenant agreement with God the Father. He knew what was at stake. The fate of all humanity hung onJesus' shoulders. He walked in obedience, knowing the reward He was to receive at the end was not earthly. Satan's plan is for us not to realize that he was defeated thousands of years ago. God from the beginning made it clear that the seed of the woman would bruise the head of the serpent. Jesus was that seed. He already did what God said from the fall of Adam. The second Adam redeemed us from the curse of the law.
Practical project:
Jesus gave us all authority to crush serpents and scorpions. Where in your life do you still feel defeated?
2. We are covered by the blood covenant we have with the Lord. What areas of your life are under attack?
3. What legal grounds does the enemy have to attack you in those areas?
After you have taken note and searched the scriptures for promises to take back your authority. You are going to pray those scriptures over your life daily until change happens. For this exercise, it would be wise to add fasting for quicker results. Fasting is not the answer. Fasting causes your flesh to be subject to the Spirit of God within you. You will hear from God with clarity and have precision for the results you are seeking from the Lord.
